T-Mobile teases press event for October 29th, Windows Phone 8 devices likely attending

It looks like every tech company on the planet is looking forward to October 29th, and not just because it will be the last day without hundreds of kids in line at Party City. Microsoft is gearing up for the epic Windows Phone 8 reveal we’ve been waiting months for, while Google is attempting to steal their thunder.

Regardless, it’s going to be a busy day for everyone in the industry and now there’s one more shindig the press will have to attend: T-Mobile’s Showcase event on October 29th. Before you start worrying that Microsoft is going to be buried in by competing announcements, fear not because we expect to see Windows Phone 8 devices there.

TmoNews noticed the invitations were going out and, based on previous leaks, they predict the Nokia Lumia 810 and HTC Windows Phone 8X will be there alongside a few Android-based competitors. T-Mobile is also likely to announce device pricing at the event, and hopefully it lines up with those leaked Walmart prices.

Microsoftober is nearly upon us. Can you feel the excitement in the air?
