Verizon’s Nokia ‘Atlas’ gets pictured: a curvier Lumia 820?

AT&T is getting the Lumia 920 and 820, T-Mobile has its sights on the Lumia 810, but what does that leave for Verizon? They’ll just have to find their way with an atlas, now won’t they? (Pun intended, and apologized for.)

Perennial Twitter-leaker @evleaks has just shared with the world a render of Verizon’s first Lumia device. Codenamed the ‘Atlas’, we first heard about this mid-range device back in August when we knew next to nothing about Nokia’s upcoming Windows Phone hardware. That has changed considerably, and now it appears this Atlas is going to join the Lumia 820 and 810 in the same price category. No other details were given, but it’s safe to assume we should expect the same 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED screen, 8-megapixel rear camera, and bevvy of Nokia-exclusive apps as on the other conservative new Lumias.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X is also expected to hit Verizon at some point. If this is the only Verizon Lumia destined to launch this year, are you satisfied?
