Nokia releases Glam Me for WP8, Cinemagraph for WP7

Nokia’s been a busy bunch lately, and today there are two noteworthy apps that the company has just released for its Windows Phones. Both are camera-centric, and one in particular has been a long-awaited arrival.

First up is a new Lens app for Windows Phone 8 users to mess around with called Glam Me. This app was recently announced at Mobile World Congress alongside the Nokia Lumia 720, and it’s a neat way to enhance self-portraits taken with a front-facing camera. There’s a variety of filters you can apply to stylize the picture, or you can go in and edit a few facial features, i.e. making your skin look softer or your teeth whiter. Once you’re done, you can share the image online.

The second app is none other than Cinemagraph, but this time for Nokia’s Windows Phone 7.x devices as promised a few months ago. For those uninitiated in one of the most time-absorbing apps you’ll ever use, Cinemagraph is basically a way to create animated .GIF images with your phone’s camera. As you can see in the one we created above just a few minutes ago, there’s a lot of ways you can go about making these cinemagraphs to create some really awesome effects. Plus you can share them online, with the app linking together with whatever social accounts you have set up on your phone.

Go ahead and get creative by downloading both apps from the Store now. Just click on the links or scan the QR codes below to get going.
